A cool breeze swept through the cathedral. The serenity of the cathedral can sooth even the weariest creature alive. The wind continuously breeze towards the cathedral rooms. The small white curtains wave in different direction and birds started chirping on a tree near the windows. The sleeping elf was awakened by the sound of the birds. She slowly opened her eyes but covered it instantly as the sunlight touches her soft pale face. She checked her body and got surprised as she got no traces of bruises or scars.

“W..where am I?” she said. The girl looked around the room to see if there’s anyone he could talk to. The cool breeze gave her a shiver and she reached for the blanket on top of the wooden table. She slowly opened the door and walked through the cold hall way of the cathedral. The Cathedral seems empty.

She continued to walk until she reached the huge door that leads outside. As she was nearing the door, she noticed the huge emblem on it. She recognized that it’s the symbol of their enemy nation – Elerd Kingdom.

Fear enveloped the frail body of the young elf. “What will they do to me??” she said to herself and holding the blanket very tightly. She stood still for about 10 mins until she mustered enough strength to open the door. As she opened the door, her eyes grew big and can’t believe what she saw.

“Why… is everything so peaceful here?” she said. Outside she saw a very peaceful community. Children playing, people laughing…. Everything opposite to where she grew. She held her hair as the wind touched it. She looked up as cherry blossoms fall from the tree in front of her. “I never knew Elerd Kingdom could this be tranquil…” she said as she picks up cherry blossoms.

“Yeah, this is the best place you’ll ever be unlike to your birthplace!” said a mysterious voice. The girl got startled and jumped back, with closed fist and is ready to fight. “Whoa! Take it easy. I’m not gonna fight ok?” said the mysterious voice. The girl eased a bit and watched every move the mysterious fellow. “We are trying hard to protect this land… We bet our lives to protect Elerd, the children and this tree…” The elf girl approached the mysterious fellow. “Im sorry for what my nation did to Elerd… Rogwel is so thirsty for power… I can’t do anything…” the girl sat in the grassy floor. “Hey, don’t worry about it. We know that eversince that Imperator gained power, a lot has already changed. Its not like we blame every rogwel we see” she said. “By the way, my name is Kimmie.” The elf girl looked up and smiled. “So how’s your stay here in Nasdaim so far?” asked Kimmie. The girl gleefully stood up and said “Great! I love this place. I never knew such place would exist.” After saying those words, her mood suddenly changed. “In rogwel, all you see is dessert… all you can see is machines. You can’t have a place where you can give yourself a time to think about anything.” Kimmie got lost of words and just said “Hey, lets just stop talking about it ok? For now, you must still rest as you really got tired and bruised.” She said. “But…” Kimmie halted the girl and said “Don’t worry about it, ok? I’m just gonna inform Cereal and the rest of Defenders of Elerd that you are awake now. I’ll be back in a jiffy so we could talk more.

“Defenders of Elerd…. Are they the ones who saved me?” she asked herself. She felt a huge pain in her chest. “I’m more ashamed now than before…” As Kimmie was about to leave, she suddenly went back and asked “ Before I forget, what is your name, pretty one?” The elf girl gave a sweet smile and said “Erika Lei”
